Teaching My Children How To Read

As soon as my children were old enough to pay attention to the stories I would read them at night, I started teaching them how to read. We would talk about letters, sounds, and word usage. It was amazing to see how much they soaked in, and before I knew it, they were starting to sound out words. I didn't know how much it would matter, but when my kids headed to school, the teachers all reported how well they were doing. This blog is all about the importance of teaching your children how to read. You never know, you might be able to singlehandedly improve their entire education.
